The beginning (general overview) of Volume 1 of The Truth of Life states the following:
When you become aware of the inherent perfection of the true nature of life, the healing power of the great life will be activated and this will result in ``divine healing.''
Divine healing is a method of healing our misfortunes by summoning the power of the great life force through an awareness of the perfection of reality, rather than relying on material means.
Based on the above principles, prayers for divine healing are intended to eliminate illness, poverty, and all other sufferings of life, even for those who have not yet attained awareness of the perfection of their own nature, through the healing work of the Great God, and to develop divinity as children of God.
The Ryugu Sumiyoshi Hongu Divine Healing Prayers were started under the direct guidance of Masaharu Taniguchi. In front of the altar of Ryugu Sumiyoshi Hongu, we ask for the healing power of the great god and conduct the Divine Development Divine Healing Prayers. A single Divine Healing Prayers takes 21 days to be completed (full).

Religious Corporation "Seicho-no-Ie" Missionary and Environmental Policy
Basic Understanding
Since its founding in 1930 (Showa 5), Seicho-no-Ie has preached to all mankind the truth that "human beings are children of God" based on the teaching of "Be grateful for all things in heaven and earth," and has spread a way of life that worships all things as the life of God and the life of Buddha. During this time, humankind has never given up on the desire for peace, even though it has experienced world wars and the Cold War, and has achieved economic development amid a rapid population growth.
However, in the rush to pursue happiness, human beings have led to thoughts and lifestyles that disregard other living species and the natural environment, resulting in mass consumption of resources and energy, and the massive emission of harmful substances including greenhouse gases, which has led to serious deterioration of the natural environment of the Earth more than 90 years after the founding of the Society. In other words, global warming is approaching an irreversible level, and the resulting climate change is causing frequent disasters around the world, reducing food production, the number of refugees and immigrants is on the rise, and the rise of political and economic xenophobia is causing political instability in many countries. These are serious problems that will continue to affect future generations.
In this situation, what we humans need is not to view nature and humans as "separate" entities and targets for exploitation, but to be grateful for the blessings of nature, to worship the mountains, rivers, grass, trees, minerals, and energy as all manifestations of the life of God and the life of Buddha, and to have a religious spirit that allows us to "live together" with them. Seicho-No-Ie believes that the practice of a life based on this religious spirit is the key to resolving the current problems, which are of global scale.
Seicho-No-Ie spreads this religious spirit throughout the world, and at the same time develops a way of life in which we "grow together with nature" as a modern way of practicing religious life. Through all of our activities we not only contribute to the curbing of global warming and the conservation of the global environment, but also provide relief and support to fellow human beings in need due to the effects of climate change and natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis.
