The design has been unified so that people around the world can make the vow with the same feeling.
For the "Special Vow for the Realization of World Peace," we have created three types of vow tickets with the same design - in Japanese, Portuguese, and English - so that people from all over the world, regardless of country or culture, can make a vow to purify the universe and realize world peace through the great harmony between God, nature, and humanity.
How to apply for special vows
For the special vows, please apply to the Education Department with a donation of 2,000 yen or more. If you wish, we will send you a special vow token by mail at a later date, so please write your address and name correctly in block letters. (Please write your individual name when applying.)
How to fill out the vow ticket
In the vow section, please write sincerely, "I vow to purify the universe and bring about world peace through the great harmony between God, nature, and humanity." The vow ticket should be taken to the head temple, and the other half should be accepted by the person making the vow, and they should pray for the divine will to be realized.
Every year on November 21st, at the Ryugu Sumiyoshi Hongu Autumn Festival, a "Special Vow for the Realization of World Peace" is made.
This special vow is a firm pledge by each and every Seicho-No-Ie believer to Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Okami, Takamimusubi-no-Kami, Kamimusubi-no-Kami, and Sumiyoshi-no-Okami, all of whom are enshrined in Ryugu-Sumiyoshi-Hongu, to work tirelessly in the movement to enlighten humanity and the movement for international peace faith, and to offer up a sincere wish in order to realize world peace. Therefore, it is essentially different from a personal wish, and the purpose of the special vow is to pray for the realization of God's will, which is "great harmony between God, nature, and humanity."
Seicho-No-Ie believes that the key to resolving global issues, such as the current natural disasters caused by global warming, and the conflicts between Ukraine and Russia and between nations in the Middle East, lies in many people realizing the truth that "all are one in God" and "mankind is children of God."
Let us make a pledge to the great gods to achieve true world peace based on mutual cooperation, transcending differences of nation, race, and religion, and let us use this as the driving force behind our continued efforts to enlighten humanity.
